The story
Suzanne Saroc, a local painter, was burned alive in her studio twenty years earlier in a fire considered accidental at the time. Two decades later, two gallery owners are murdered in the area, and the tragedy resurfaces. Marion, Suzanne’s daughter, leads the investigation alongside Antoine Le Mezec, the police officer who investigated her mother’s death twenty years earlier; it was his first investigation.
