Full plot (contains spoilers)
Nick Spitz, an NYPD officer, and his wife Audrey travel to Europe for their 15th anniversary. They are invited by billionaire Charles Cavendish to a party on his yacht. During the event, the host Malcolm Quince is murdered. While the guests are questioned by Inspector Delacroix, Nick and Audrey begin investigating. They discover various secrets, including a bodyguard named Sergei who reveals Quince's past. After a series of deaths—including a suicide and Sergei being shot—the couple travels to Monte Carlo and then Lake Como. They realize Cavendish and his lover Suzi are plotting to split the inheritance. After Suzi is killed by a masked person and Cavendish is poisoned, Nick and Audrey deduce that Grace Ballard is the primary murderer, who had been picking off heirs to claim Quince's fortune. However, they also discover a second conspirator, Carlos, who was seeking revenge for his father. After a high-speed car chase, Carlos is killed by the couple's chaotic tour bus. The film ends with Delacroix offering to help Nick get promoted, and the couple continuing their vacation on the Orient Express.
