A newly married couple take separate vacations and unknowingly end up at the same hotel on Mykonos, where they are both attracted to their tour guide.
The story
Ginster and Tobias have only just married, but their marriage is already troubled. After a major argument that leaves crockery broken, they take separate vacations. By chance, both arrive on the Greek Cyclades island of Mykonos and stay at the same hotel. Each is attracted to Jasmin, the pretty tour guide. Ginster turns to Jasmin for comfort over her marital and romantic woes, while Tobias is also drawn to the guide. Their unexpected arrival at the same hotel places the troubled marriage in a new predicament.
Full plot (contains spoilers)
Ginster and Tobias have only just married, and already storm clouds are gathering over their marriage. They have their first major row, complete with broken crockery. Afterward, they go on vacation separately. Without having planned it, each of them ends up on the Greek Cyclades island of Mykonos, and at the same hotel. They have also both fallen for the same person: Jasmin, the pretty tour guide. While Jasmin initially has to act as a comforter for Ginster over her marital and romantic woes (and this also leads to lesbian lovemaking), for Tobias the tour guide is primarily a sexual lightning rod. Lighter side plots feature a shy student, a dim-witted racing driver, an intellectual, a pushy woman who is not loved in return, and a beautiful loner. In the end, this game of musical-chairs romance reaches a conciliatory conclusion, and the spouses who have been unfaithful find their way back to each other. Only Jasmin is left alone.
