A former race car driver seeks revenge against a rival who caused his friend's death by entering a high-stakes, underground supercar race.
The story
Tobey Marshall, a former race car driver and owner of Marshall Performance Motors in Mount Kisco, New York, and his crew participate in illegal street races to make ends meet. After Tobey successfully proves a rare Ford Shelby Mustang can exceed 230 mph, he faces off against his rival, Dino Brewster. Following a tragic accident during a race that results in the death of Tobey's friend, Pete, and Tobey's subsequent imprisonment, he is released on parole. Driven by a desire for vengeance, Tobey teams up with an exotic car broker to enter the De Leon, a high-stakes supercar race hosted by the reclusive Monarch.

Tobey Marshall and his crew work out of a garage in Mount Kisco, New York, tuning cars and participating in street races. They are tasked by Dino Brewster to build a rare Ford Shelby Mustang. After Tobey proves the car's speed to a broker, Dino challenges Tobey to a race using three Koenigsegg Agera R cars. During the race, Dino kills Tobey's friend Pete and flees, leading to Tobey's arrest and a two-year prison sentence for involuntary manslaughter. Upon release, Tobey seeks revenge by entering the De Leon race with Julia Maddon. They face obstacles including a police chase in Detroit, a group of truckers hired by Dino, and a tow truck that wrecks the Mustang. After obtaining a hidden Koenigsegg from Dino's fiancée, Anita, Tobey and Julia reach the race. Tobey confronts Dino on the Pacific Coast Highway, dodging a ramming attempt and causing Dino to crash. Tobey punches Dino to avenge Pete before both are apprehended. Tobey is released again 178 days later and reunites with Julia.
