A new parent and his wife find themselves in an escalating war with the fraternity that moved in next door.

The story

Mac Radner and his wife Kelly are struggling to adjust to the responsibilities of parenthood with their infant daughter, Stella. Their lifestyle is disrupted when Delta Psi Beta, a fraternity known for outrageous parties, moves in next door. The fraternity's leaders, Teddy Sanders and Pete Regazolli, aim to join the Hall of Fame by hosting a massive end-of-the-year party. The Radners attempt to negotiate with Teddy to keep the noise down, but tensions quickly escalate into an all-out war between the new parents and the rowdy students.

Full plot (contains spoilers)

Mac Radner and his wife Kelly are struggling with the transition to parenthood until a rowdy fraternity, Delta Psi Beta, moves in next door. The fraternity leaders, Teddy Sanders and Pete Regazolli, plan a massive end-of-the-year party. After the Radners fail to keep the noise down, they enter a series of retaliatory pranks. Kelly and Mac eventually try to sabotage the fraternity by damaging water pipes and manipulating the students into a fight that puts the fraternity on probation. To ensure the fraternity is shut down, they hire a pledge to record Teddy threatening retaliation, but Teddy reveals he knows they hired him. The Radners then send a counterfeit letter to the dean to lift the probation, publicize the party, and call the police. During the chaotic party, the Radners sneak in to stop it. Teddy takes the blame for the party's illegalities and is arrested, leading to the fraternity's closure. Four months later, Mac and Teddy reconcile while working at a retail store, and the Radners accept their new lives as parents.
