The story
Nina’s father tells her bedtime stories, including one about a little hedgehog that travels the world. When he loses his job at the factory because its director embezzled money, he no longer feels able to tell stories and sinks into despair. Nina wants to help and teams up with her friend Mehdi, whose father is in the same situation. They decide to retrieve the director’s stolen loot from the factory, hoping it will help their families. But the abandoned factory is guarded by a security guard and his dog, and getting inside will require them to distract him.
Full plot (contains spoilers)
Nina’s father tells her stories at night to help her fall asleep. After finding a hedgehog in the factory where he works, he titles the story *The Hedgehog’s Tales*, about a little animal that travels the world. But the family’s life is turned upside down when her father loses his job as a result of the embezzlement committed by the director. He no longer feels up to telling her stories and sinks into despair. She tries to help him and decides, along with her friend Mehdi, whose father is in the same situation, to go and retrieve the loot stolen by the director from the factory—surely a hidden treasure that they can steal in turn to help their families, a clever solution to all their problems. To get into the abandoned factory, guarded by a security guard and his dog, they will have to distract him, which won’t be easy! They’ll need imagination and courage to imitate a cat’s meows or even throw stink bombs—and even more to outwit the traps set by the guard, who is in cahoots with the director. The little hedgehog drawn by her father comes to life for Nina and encourages her on her adventure.
