A mild-mannered family man is forced to unleash his hidden past as an assassin when his family becomes the target of a vengeful crime lord.

The story

Hutch Mansell lives a mundane life as an office worker with his wife, children, and a sense of normalcy. However, his quiet existence is shattered when a series of events—starting with a home burglary and a violent confrontation on a bus—draws the attention of a ruthless Russian crime lord. When the mob begins to target his family, Hutch must confront the fact that he is not the 'nobody' he pretends to be. He is forced to navigate a dangerous underworld to protect his loved ones, ultimately deciding how much of his former, violent identity he must reveal to ensure their safety.

Full plot (contains spoilers)

The film opens with Hutch Mansell in an interrogation room, where he claims to be 'nobody.' Flashbacks reveal his ordinary life until a burglary and a subsequent fight on a bus involving a man named Teddy lead to the attention of Yulian Kuznetsov, a Russian crime lord. After Hutch brutally defends himself and others, Yulian tracks him down. When mobsters attack Hutch's home, he manages to fight them off but is captured. He eventually escapes and reveals his true identity as an 'auditor'—a former assassin for the U.S. Intelligence Community. To protect his family and eliminate the threat, Hutch burns his house to hide evidence, secures his assets, and engages in a final, violent confrontation at a factory. He faces off against Yulian and his men, eventually using a Claymore mine to defeat the Russian boss. The film concludes with Hutch being released from custody and returning to his family, though a final scene suggests his past may not be entirely settled.
