The Horsemen and their handler must navigate a complex web of deception to stop a criminal mastermind from obtaining a powerful data chip.

The story

Eighteen months after escaping the FBI, the fugitive Four Horsemen—J. Daniel Atlas, Merritt McKinney, Jack Wilder, and new member Lula May—await orders from the Eye, the secret society of magicians. Their handler, FBI Special Agent Dylan Shrike, delivers instructions on their latest mission: to expose corrupt tech CEO Owen Case, whose latest cell phone will secretly collect users' personal data to sell on the black market. In New York City, the Horsemen hijack the phone's launch but are interrupted by a mysterious figure who reveals to the public that Jack faked his death and that Dylan is working with the Horsemen.

Full plot (contains spoilers)

Eighteen months after escaping the FBI, the fugitive Four Horsemen—J. Daniel Atlas, Merritt McKinney, Jack Wilder, and new member Lula May—await orders from the Eye. Their handler, FBI Special Agent Dylan Shrike, tasks them with exposing corrupt tech CEO Owen Case. During a New York City launch, they are interrupted by a mysterious figure, and the Horsemen flee to Macau. There, they are captured by Chase and brought to Walter Mabry, who reveals Owen took his company and a chip designed to access any computer system. Daniel agrees to steal the chip for Walter. The Horsemen infiltrate the Macau Science Center to retrieve it, while Dylan seeks help from Thaddeus Bradley. In Macau, Dylan is captured and nearly killed by Walter's associates but is rescued by the Horsemen. They realize the chip Walter has is fake and decide to stop him. The Horsemen perform in London, and during a New Year's Eve show, they are captured by Walter's men. They are forced onto a plane where they are thrown out, only to realize the plane is a set on the Thames. Walter's actions are broadcast worldwide, and the Horsemen and Dylan escape. They eventually meet other Eye members at the Greenwich Observatory, where Thaddeus Bradley is revealed as their leader.
