Three young illusionists are recruited by a legendary magician to steal a high-value diamond from a corrupt tycoon.
The story
Ten years after the Horsemen's last performance, three young illusionists—Charlie, Bosco, and June—impersonate the Horsemen using deepfakes and holograms to drain a corrupt cryptocurrency exchange owner's wallet. They are soon approached by the real J. Daniel Atlas, the foreman of the Horsemen. He reveals he was sent by the Eye, a secret society of magicians, to recruit them for a high-stakes mission: stealing the Heart Diamond from Veronika Vanderberg, the head of a South African diamond company involved in money laundering. The young magicians must navigate a dangerous landscape of corporate greed and secret societies to complete the task.
Full plot (contains spoilers)
Ten years after the Horsemen's last performance, three young illusionists—Charlie, Bosco, and June—impersonate the Horsemen to drain a corrupt cryptocurrency owner's wallet. They are recruited by J. Daniel Atlas, who is tasked by the secret society 'the Eye' to steal the Heart Diamond from Veronika Vanderberg. During a heist in Antwerp, the original Horsemen—Jack, Henley, and Merritt—join the fray. The group eventually retreats to a château in France, where they are ambushed by police on Veronika's payroll. After a series of narrow escapes, including a high-speed chase in Abu Dhabi, the Horsemen face off against Veronika. In a final twist, it is revealed that Charlie is actually Veronika's half-brother and the mastermind behind the events, seeking revenge for his mother's death. He successfully tricks her into a staged finale, ultimately reclaiming the diamond and intending to return the proceeds to the people of South Africa. The film ends with the Horsemen reuniting and the new illusionists being officially inducted into the Eye.
