Derek Charles, a finance company employee, is friendly to an office temp named Lisa Sheridan. Believing Derek is flirting with her, Lisa attempts to seduce him multiple times, including at an office Christmas party and by flashing him at his car. Lisa continues to stalk Derek via email and eventually spikes his drink at a resort conference, following him to his hotel room. The next day, Derek finds Lisa in his bed after she attempted suicide; Sharon finds him at the hospital and suspects an affair. Detective Monica Reese questions Derek's fidelity but finds Lisa's story inconsistent. Sharon kicks Derek out, but they reconcile three months later.
