Full plot (contains spoilers)
Following the murder of Dani Odello-Timmis, her twin sister Darcy, a blind clairvoyant, uses a glass eye to see visions of Dani's final moments. Darcy eventually confronts Dani's husband, Ted, and accuses him of orchestrating the murder with the help of an orderly named Ivan. Tensions escalate when Darcy sends a life-sized wooden golem to the house where Ted lives with his new girlfriend, Yana. Yana discovers the golem is filled with personal items and flees in terror. During a confrontation, Darcy is trapped and injured by a mechanism set by Ted. Ivan is subsequently attacked and 'assaulted' by the golem, which Darcy appears to animate. After Darcy dies from her wounds, Ted incinerates the golem and ensures Ivan is dealt with. The film ends with Ted alone in the house, receiving a haunted call bell from Darcy's shop; he rings it to prove his rationalist beliefs, unaware of a ghost standing behind him.
