Full plot (contains spoilers)
After finishing his studies, Andi arrives in Fuerteventura for the holidays with two goals. He has signed up for a surfing course, and he also wants to find his father, who left the family long ago and whom Andi knows only from photographs. The course instructor is Tina, and the two later grow close. He also meets Pedro, a local young man who spends all day surfing. Andi manages to find his father, who works as a bartender at a local hotel. But his relationship with his father is strained, because he cannot forgive him for leaving Andi’s pregnant mother. Andi also feels increasingly attracted to Pedro and tries to spend as much time with him as possible. When he finally plucks up the courage to tell Pedro how he feels about him, he learns that Pedro is his half-brother. This makes his relationship with his father even worse.
