The story
Jackie Cruz is the iron-willed CEO of Air Cruz, a major airline where she enforces a strict no-fraternization policy to maintain her standing with her demanding father. The status quo is disrupted by the arrival of Daniel Blanchflower, a reserved British attorney. Despite their different roles and Jackie's intimidating demeanor, the two share an immediate professional chemistry. When a high-stakes case requires them to travel together to the Dominican Republic, their proximity begins to test the corporate boundaries Jackie has established, leading to a secret romance that threatens both their careers and the future of the company.

Jackie Cruz, the iron-willed CEO of Air Cruz, maintains a strict no-fraternization policy to earn her father's respect. Her life is upended by Daniel Blanchflower, a British attorney whose presence creates an intense chemistry. During a trip to the Dominican Republic, the two begin a passionate affair. Upon returning to New Jersey, they attempt to hide the relationship from their colleagues, but their actions are scrutinized by a watchful coworker. The situation escalates when opposing legal counsel threatens to expose the affair to sabotage the company. Just before Jackie plans to resign during a press conference, Daniel is delayed in the Holland Tunnel. He arrives at the last moment to publicly defend her competence and their relationship. Supported by her father, they ultimately rewrite the company's HR rules and openly embrace their romance.
