In a fit of desperation, she keeps him bound to a bed for twelve hours. She enlists her friend Max and Max's boyfriend Kenny to help her perform a ritual involving a potion from a witch to erase Isaac's memory of the events. While the ritual is performed, Isaac experiences a dream of a different reality. The next morning, Isaac believes the memory is gone, but he overhears the truth and flees in Iris's car during a rainstorm. After his car is found crashed, Iris finds him injured in the woods.
