A man losing his hearing clashes with a new neighbor seeking peace and quiet.

The story

Everyone close to Antoine reproaches him for not listening, concentrating, or making an effort, but he is losing much of his hearing. In his apartment building, Claire arrives with her daughter, Violette, and stays for a few days at her sister Léna’s home, hoping to find some peace and quiet. That hope is tested by Antoine, whose music plays at full volume and whose alarm clock keeps ringing. Their neighboring routines put Antoine’s hearing loss and Claire’s need for quiet into immediate conflict.
