The story
Randy "Unique" Joneson, a veteran recently released from prison in New York, moves to his hometown of Karenville, Ohio, to live with his cousin, Ramsee. However, he quickly discovers that Karenville is a sundown town governed by a corrupt and racist Sheriff McLeoud. The town is plagued by a sinister organ harvesting scheme targeting Black men, which comes to light following the disappearance of Unique's other cousin, a local star athlete. While trying to maintain a low profile and protect his family, Unique's situation escalates when his cousin Ramsee is abducted by a gang led by the Sheriff's son, forcing him to decide how to respond to the local corruption.

Randy "Unique" Joneson, a veteran seeking peace in Karenville, Ohio, after prison, finds himself in a town controlled by a corrupt Sheriff McLeoud. The Sheriff operates an organ-harvesting ring targeting Black men, a fact revealed by the disappearance of Unique's cousin, Lonnie. While Unique tries to live quietly with his cousin Ramsee, the Sheriff's son, Jimmy, leads a gang that abducts Ramsee. Unique's parole officer in New York, Officer Beam, discovers the truth about the Sheriff's activities and travels to Ohio to find him. Utilizing his military training, Unique fights back against the gang and infiltrates Jimmy's clubhouse. He defeats the gang members and eventually confronts Jimmy. In a final confrontation witnessed by the Sheriff's office and local residents, Unique tricks Jimmy into confessing his crimes and supremacist ideology over an intercom before executing him, effectively ending the Sheriff's influence.
