A hapless police officer goes undercover as a Portuguese cousin to investigate a family suspected of hiding drugs.
The story
Hakim, a clumsy, accident-prone police officer of Moroccan origin, lives with his overbearing mother. Interpol sends him undercover to infiltrate a Portuguese community and investigate drug trafficking. He must quickly learn to behave like a Portuguese person, adopt the accent and understand the culture. Because he closely resembles Joaquim, a cousin of Julia, who owns a construction company, Hakim takes Joaquim’s place after the real Joaquim is arrested by police upon arriving in France. He is then assigned to oversee a construction site while trying to discover where the Portuguese family is hiding the drugs.
