The story

Pop superstar Alfred Moretti creates a media frenzy by announcing his first new album in 30 years. He invites six guests, including journalists and influencers, to a listening party at his secluded Utah compound. Upon arrival, the guests' electronic devices are confiscated by a staff of cultists known as the Levelists. While the atmosphere becomes increasingly unsettling and the guests are subjected to strange rituals, Ariel Ecton, a journalist, begins to notice the disturbing behavior of the cultists and the mysterious disappearance of other guests. As the situation escalates, Ariel must navigate the strange environment and the twisted plans of Moretti.

Full plot (contains spoilers)

Pop superstar Alfred Moretti invites six guests to his Utah compound for a listening party to celebrate his first new album in 30 years. The guests include journalist Ariel Ecton, talk show host Clara Armstrong, and others. Upon arrival, their phones are seized by 'Levelists' in denim uniforms. Ariel becomes suspicious of the cult-like atmosphere while others are enamored by Moretti. During the stay, guests begin to disappear or suffer injuries; Bill is missing, and Emily is taken away after a coughing fit. When Ariel raises alarms, she is met with indifference until she is shot in the shoulder. After finding the others' phones and discovering a mutilated corpse, Ariel attempts to flee but is intercepted. She is eventually forced to watch a puppet show where Moretti admits to poisoning Emily. A violent confrontation ensues, and Ariel escapes to a nearby house where she finds more evidence of violence. She is eventually captured and rescued by a cultist, only to find Moretti playing piano among the corpses of the other guests. Two years later, Ariel's memoir becomes a bestseller. Moretti, serving life sentences, reveals that the massacre was a calculated move to make her book a vehicle for Levelist recruitment. The film ends with Ariel realizing she has been successfully indoctrinated as a Levelist herself.
