Orpheline (2016)

The film follows four stages in the life of one and the same woman. The peaceful childhood of little Kiki (played by Véga Cuzytek), in the countryside, is shattered by a tragic game of hide-and-seek. During her adolescence, the girl now called Karine (Solène Rigot) repeatedly runs away and has romantic encounters to escape the family home. At 20, the young woman from the provinces, now Sandra (Adèle Exarchopoulos), moves to Paris and gets involved in money trafficking. The years pass; she (Adèle Haenel) goes by Renée and now believes herself to be a fulfilled woman, free of her past.
