After learning he has only four weeks to live, an eccentric bookseller offers an actress money to spend time with him.
The story
Oskar, an eccentric but lovable bookseller, is content in his small world of books and harbors a crush on Yvonne, an actress who lives nearby with her mother and manager, Danuta. Their only connection is that Yvonne regularly collects parcels from his secondhand bookshop. Then Oskar learns that he is incurably ill and has only four weeks to live. Keeping his plans from his money-hungry brother, he cancels his life insurance and makes Yvonne an offer: he will pay her 5,000 euros for every day she spends with him. The unusual arrangement draws the attention of people around them, while other characters further complicate matters.
