Full plot (contains spoilers)
Kate Sullivan, a widowed mother of three, works two jobs while studying nursing. After being fired and pushed off a yacht by the arrogant playboy Leo Montenegro, she discovers Leo has fallen into the ocean and developed amnesia. Kate and her friend Theresa convince the confused Leo that he is married to Kate. Kate introduces him to her daughters, and they begin a domestic life together. Leo eventually bonds with the girls, and Kate begins to feel guilty about the lie but continues it because the children enjoy his company. Meanwhile, Leo's sisters, Magdalena and Sofia, are trying to take over their father's company; Magdalena falsely claims Leo was killed by a shark to seize control. Leo eventually discovers the truth when his father finds him. Hurt, Leo returns to his yacht, but after realizing how selfish his former life was, he agrees to reunite with Kate and the girls. After a series of dramatic events involving a boat chase and a jump into the water, Leo and Kate share a kiss and decide to stay together. Leo's father eventually names Sofia as his successor, and Leo and Kate marry aboard the yacht.
