American paratroopers discover terrifying Nazi experiments while behind enemy lines before D-Day.

The story

On the eve of D-Day in an alternate 1940s, a paratrooper squad is sent to destroy a German radio-jamming tower in an old church. After their plane is shot down, only four survivors remain. They encounter a local woman and her brother while navigating a landscape where the Nazis are conducting horrifying experiments. The soldiers must navigate the dangers of the enemy and the mysterious, terrifying secrets hidden within the church's grounds to complete their mission.

Full plot (contains spoilers)

In an alternate 1940s, a paratrooper squad is sent to destroy a German radio-jamming tower. After a crash leaves only four survivors, they take refuge with a local woman, Chloe. The squad discovers a Nazi underground base where a serum derived from 'ancient black tar' is used to create mutated soldiers. During the conflict, a Nazi officer named Wafner captures Chloe's brother. The soldiers infiltrate the base to rescue the boy and destroy the facility. In the climax, Wafner—mutated and superhumanly strong—confronts the survivors. Corporal Ford uses the serum to fight Wafner, while Boyce eventually detonates the facility, killing both him and Wafner. The survivors are later reassigned, with Boyce reporting the mission as a success without mentioning the underground lab.
