Paradies 505. Ein Niederbayernkrimi (2013)

The discovery of a woman’s body throws the residents of the Bavarian community of Niedernussdorf into turmoil. Local Chief Inspector Gisela Wegmeyer begins investigating alongside Straubing Chief Inspector Florian Lederer. The trail leads to the “Paradies 505” wellness center, where the deceased, named Danijela, worked. It turns out that she regularly consulted Niedernussdorf’s local doctor, Dr. Huber. Their questioning comes to an abrupt end when the nervous doctor suddenly suffers a heart attack. According to his shocked assistant Jenny, he had heart problems; he was also a co-owner of the wellness center, which ultimately turns out to be a brothel. A second lead points to Hias, a red-haired pig farmer and eccentric who is under the thumb of his mother, Jakobina. Danijela’s death ultimately turns out to have been an accident.
