The story
After meteoriticist Victoria Vance steals a giant electromagnet, she inadvertently sets a fire that traps the owners of a scrapyard, prompting Ryder and the Paw Patrol to intervene. Meanwhile, Vance creates a Meteor Magnet to attract a magical meteor, but the machine malfunctions, sending the meteor toward Paw Tower. The pups evacuate the tower and help civilians escape before the meteor strikes. That night, the meteor rock splits to reveal seven crystals, granting the pups superpowers. They re-brand as 'the Mighty Pups' to face Vance and her accomplice, Mayor Humdinger, who seek to use the crystals' power.
Full plot (contains spoilers)
Following the destruction of the Cloud Catcher, meteoriticist Victoria Vance steals a giant electromagnet, causing a fire that the Paw Patrol must extinguish. While the citizens of Adventure City gather for a meteor shower, Vance creates a Meteor Magnet that malfunctions, sending a magical meteor toward Paw Tower. The pups evacuate the tower and the meteor strikes, wreaking havoc. The meteor rock later splits into seven crystals, granting the pups superpowers and leading them to re-brand as 'the Mighty Pups.' Vance escapes prison with Mayor Humdinger and the Kitten Catastrophe Crew, planning to trap the pups. Vance steals Skye's crystal and leaves her trapped in a plane. Skye, who felt like the smallest and weakest member of the team, discovers her new powers of flight and super strength. She eventually retrieves her crystal while the rest of the team fights Humdinger, who has grown into a giant using one of the crystals. During the battle, Liberty discovers her power of elasticity. The pups eventually subdue Vance and destroy the Meteor Magnet. However, Vance had already attracted more meteors. Skye flies into the air and destroys each meteor individually, including a giant one, before being rendered unconscious and then resuscitated by the crystals.
