Full plot (contains spoilers)
Versilia, summer 1956. The teenage Sandrino is on a seaside vacation with his family. Also with them is the beautiful Laura, the wife of the boy’s older brother, Renzo, who leaves her with them for a while. At first annoyed by his sister-in-law’s presence, and by having to keep her company and help her with all sorts of things, Sandrino then begins to fall for Laura, who in turn sets off a series of titillating situations. The boy also starts a succession of intriguing situations, partly held back and partly encouraged by the woman. In the end, the woman gives herself to the boy, and the film concludes with the family celebrating the experience the boy has had. The person who rejoices most is his unsuspecting older brother, while the two exchange a knowing look.
