The story

François is a hard worker, obsessed with earning a Michelin star, while Charlotte’s former husband Alex—a compulsive gambler and mythomaniac who disappeared after an argument—is thought to be dead. Alex unexpectedly reappears, explaining his long absence as the result of the tsunami in Thailand, and sets out to win Charlotte back. His return sparks a fierce contest between the two men for Charlotte’s heart, pitting Alex’s boastful, dishonest nature against François’s work-driven ambitions.
