Full plot (contains spoilers)
Mima Kirigoe leaves her idol group, CHAM!, to become an actress. She is stalked by a fan named Me-Mania and discovers 'Mima's Room,' a website of her private thoughts. While filming a drama, she is forced into a distressing scene and begins to experience paranoia and hallucinations of her 'former self.' A series of murders occurs among those in her professional circle. Mima finds evidence suggesting she is a killer, specifically a photographer named Murano. The film reveals a twist: Mima's manager, Rumi, is suffering from schizophrenia and has created a 'real Mima' persona to replace Mima. Rumi is the one behind the murders and the website. After a confrontation where Me-Mania is killed by Rumi, Mima eventually faces Rumi in a final confrontation. Rumi is apprehended, and Mima, now established as an actress, visits her in a mental institution, ultimately claiming to be the 'real' one.
