A realistic and grounded horror retelling of Peter Pan follows a woman's desperate quest to rescue her younger brother from a malicious child snatcher.

The story

Fifteen years ago, a man named Peter Pan, who performed as a mime in a fantasy-themed circus, abducted a young boy and murdered the boy's mother. In the present day, Wendy Darling lives in Ashdown with her mother and two younger brothers. When Wendy's younger brother, Michael, goes missing after a bike ride, Peter Pan contacts the family, claiming he is taking the boy to 'Neverland.' As Wendy searches for her brother, she joins forces with her best friend, Tiger Lily, and a man whose son was also kidnapped by Peter years prior. The group's journey leads them into a dangerous confrontation with Peter's dark reality.

Full plot (contains spoilers)

The film begins with a flashback to 15 years ago, where Peter Pan, a circus mime, kidnaps 6-year-old James Hook and kills the boy's mother, Roxanne. In the present, Wendy Darling is distracted while her younger brother Michael leaves on a bike and is abducted by Peter. Peter calls the family, claiming he is taking Michael to 'Neverland.' While Wendy, Tiger Lily, and Joey visit a man whose son was previously taken by Peter, Peter kills Lily's parents and abducts Joey. Michael meets a trans woman named 'Tinker Bell,' who is a victim of Peter's drug abuse and manipulation. Wendy tracks Peter to an abandoned manor where he holds Michael and Joey hostage. Wendy breaks in, finds Joey in a coffin, and discovers the mutilated James Hook. Tinker Bell (revealed as Timmy Carter) betrays Peter, leading to her death. Peter then fights Wendy, biting off two of her fingers. Michael manages to bludgeon Peter, and James Hook emerges to drag the injured Peter away. One year later, Michael celebrates his birthday with Wendy, John, and Mary, but Wendy receives a phone call featuring the same music from Peter's original call.
