The story

They quickly realize they are only guests, leading them to express their longing for performing together. Aubrey eventually convinces the group to join a USO tour headlined by DJ Khaled, with the hope of gaining recognition from Aubrey's father. As they prepare for the tour, the group faces various challenges, including navigating new dynamics and personal hurdles.
Full plot (contains spoilers)
Three years after the second film, the Bellas have graduated from Barden University and are struggling with their careers. Beca and Amy are roommates in New York City. They are invited to an event by Emily, a senior at Barden, only to find they are guests. They reconvene at a bar and decide to join a USO tour headlined by DJ Khaled. Stacie, who is eight months pregnant, is replaced by Emily. The group travels to Rota, Spain, where they meet other bands and soldiers. Chloe begins to fall for a soldier named Chicago. Fat Amy discovers her estranged father, Fergus, a crime lord, is looking for her. During a party at DJ Khaled's suite, Aubrey starts a fire, and Amy sneaks off to a poker tournament set up by Fergus. After Stacie gives birth to a girl named Bella, the group continues the tour. Fergus eventually reveals he only wants Amy's offshore account, leading her to disown him. When DJ Khaled asks Beca to perform alone, she declines. The Bellas are then abducted by Fergus and taken on his yacht. Beca distracts Fergus with a performance of "Toxic" while Amy detonates a bomb, allowing them to escape. Fergus is arrested. Amy reveals the solo offer to the group, and they encourage Beca to take it. At the final USO performance, Beca opens for DJ Khaled before bringing the Bellas out for "Freedom! '90". The film ends with the Bellas' lives improving: Amy uses her bankroll for tributes, Aubrey becomes a birthing coach, Flo's juice cart becomes a brand, Chloe enters vet school, Cynthia-Rose enlists, Emily returns to Barden, and Beca becomes Theo's boss.
