The story
In early 19th-century England, the Bennet sisters are forced to defend themselves against a zombie infestation. Having been trained in martial arts and weaponry in China by their father, they navigate the social complexities of the era while facing literal monsters. The story follows the general plot of Jane Austen's original novel, but with the addition of zombie, horror, and post-apocalyptic elements. The sisters must manage their reputations and potential marriages while ensuring their survival in a world where the undead roam the countryside.
Full plot (contains spoilers)
In 19th-century England, the Bennet sisters are trained warriors who must defend their home from a zombie plague. During a country dance, they encounter the wealthy Bingley and the stoic Colonel Darcy, a skilled zombie killer. After Jane falls ill and is quarantined, the family is visited by their cousin, the overbearing Parson Collins. Elizabeth meets the charming but deceitful George Wickham, who claims to believe in a coexistence with 'civilized' zombies. The plot culminates in a confrontation where Wickham is revealed as an undead traitor attempting to build a zombie army to rule the country. Darcy saves the family, and the truth of Wickham's nature is exposed. After a final battle where the human army destroys a bridge to stop the undead, Darcy and Elizabeth finally unite and marry, though a mid-credits scene suggests Wickham's threat is not entirely over.
