Pura Vida Ibiza (2004)

The film begins with the backstory of three buddies, Ben, Nick, and Felix, who meet during their school years. Nick is the genius of the group, and the other two would never have graduated without him. Even back at school, Felix is far ahead of his two friends when it comes to understanding women. Ben is initially the biggest loser of the three, since he has been in love with his classmate Carola since elementary school, and he often makes a fool of himself in her presence. After they graduate, Ben, Nick, and Felix decide to celebrate at a nightclub. But when Ben sees his childhood sweetheart Carola there—now dating the city’s famous DJ, DJ Kool—he decides, dead drunk and naked on the dance floor, to confess his love to her. She immediately turns him down, and when her boyfriend sees what is happening, things go beyond a beer shower. The next day, when Ben wakes up still completely drunk on a park bench beside his friends, they tell him that the night did not end with the nightclub. To cheer Ben up, the three of them had gone to his house and rounded off the evening with a few prostitutes, paid for by Ben’s father. They then decide to take jobs as club entertainers in Ibiza. To get the jobs, they have to endure a few ordeals: during their in-person assessment, Oktopus’s head of personnel, Hans Beck, puts the three through several tough tests to assess how resilient the new club entertainers are.
