The story
Set immediately after the events of Ready or Not, the story follows Grace MacCaullay as she reunites with her estranged younger sister, Faith. The two women find themselves caught in a dangerous game orchestrated by a group of elite families. They are hunted within a high-stakes ritual where the ultimate goal is to claim a seat of ultimate power and a ring of infinite worldwide power. Grace must navigate the deadly competition and protect her sister from the various families who are desperate to win the prize before the sun rises.
Full plot (contains spoilers)
After surviving the Le Domases' ritual, Grace MacCaullay is hospitalized and reunites with her estranged sister, Faith. Meanwhile, the Council—led by the Danforth twins—prepares for a new game to claim the High Seat and a ring of infinite power. Grace and Faith are taken to the Danforth complex and told that if Grace marries a member of the Council, the game ends and she is spared. They are handcuffed together and forced to navigate a golf course while being hunted by various families. After several deaths and a temporary alliance, the sisters are separated. Grace eventually agrees to marry Titus Danforth to ensure Faith's safety. Before the wedding, she is warned of his psychopathy. During the ceremony before a crowd of cultists, Grace stabs Titus and takes his ring. She throws the ring into a pit of sacrificed goats, causing the remaining Council members to jump in and destroy each other. The sisters are freed by the spirit of Le Bail and leave together.
