A young bride must survive a deadly wedding night ritual orchestrated by her wealthy in-laws.

The story

On their wedding night, Grace MacCaullay marries Alex, the son of the wealthy Le Domas family. The family observes a tradition where the new bride must draw a card from a puzzle box. When Grace draws the 'Hide-and-Seek' card, the family believes they must find and ritualistically sacrifice her before dawn to avoid a curse. Believing the game to be harmless, Grace hides, but the family members arm themselves with weapons. As the night progresses, the game turns into a deadly hunt, and Grace must navigate the mansion's secrets to survive the night and escape the deadly tradition of the Le Domas family.

Full plot (contains spoilers)

The film begins with a flashback showing Daniel Le Domas witnessing a man named Charles being sacrificed by his family. In the present, Grace MacCaullay marries Alex, the son of the wealthy Le Domas family. During their wedding night, the family forces Grace to draw a card from a puzzle box. She draws 'Hide-and-Seek,' triggering a ritual where the family must find and sacrifice her before dawn to avoid a curse. While Alex tries to help her escape, the family hunts her through the mansion. Grace encounters various family members, including a disillusioned Daniel who provides her a head start. After several narrow escapes and injuries, she eventually makes it to the grounds but is captured by the butler, Stevens. She manages to kill him in a car crash. The family, poisoned by Daniel, becomes incapacitated, but the ritual continues in chaos. As the sun rises, the curse is revealed to be real; any family member attempting to kill Grace after dawn explodes. Finally, only Alex remains, who is also consumed by the curse. Grace emerges from the burning mansion as the sole survivor, calmly telling the arriving police that her ordeal was caused by her 'in-laws.'
