The story
After attending her grandmother's funeral in Texas, Lisa Reisert boards a red-eye flight to Miami. She finds herself seated next to a man named Jackson Rippner. While the flight is in progress, Jack's demeanor shifts, and he reveals he is part of a terrorist organization. He informs Lisa that her role as a hotel manager in Miami is vital to their plot to assassinate the United States Deputy Secretary of Homeland Security. Lisa is forced to navigate a high-stakes confrontation on the plane as she tries to resist his demands while ensuring the safety of the high-profile guests at her hotel.

Lisa Reisert, a hotel manager, is traveling to Miami after a funeral when she meets Jackson Rippner on a red-eye flight. Jackson reveals he is a terrorist and demands that Lisa move the Deputy Secretary of Homeland Security, Charles Keefe, to a specific hotel suite to be targeted by a missile. Lisa attempts to stall for time, but eventually, she manages to get the Keefe family moved to the target zone. After landing, she stabs Jackson and flees the plane, eventually reaching her father's house. She manages to alert her coworkers to evacuate the hotel just before a missile strikes the target suite. At her home, she faces a hitman and later a final confrontation with Jackson. She eventually manages to wound him, and her father, Joe, arrives to shoot him. Lisa returns to the hotel where she is praised by Keefe for saving his family.
