The story

In the 1980s, Leroy Logan, the son of Jamaican immigrants, decides to become a police officer in London, although he had actually aspired to a scientific education. In this way, he wants to fight racism in the police from the inside. His father, who has just been beaten up by police officers for no reason, is horrified, and Leroy is exposed to racism in the police force as well.
