A group of college friends embarks on a frantic road trip to intercept a compromising tape before it reaches a girl's hands.
The story
Josh Parker and Tiffany Henderson are childhood friends in a long-distance relationship. When Josh becomes insecure about their distance, he begins sending her videotaped messages. After a misunderstanding leads him to believe a sex tape he recorded with a friend's interest, Beth Wagner, was accidentally mailed to Tiffany, Josh and three of his friends—Rubin, E.L., and the socially awkward Kyle—set off on a desperate road trip from New York to Austin. They must navigate various mishaps, including a broken car and a series of misadventures, to intercept the tape before Tiffany can see it.

Josh Parker and Tiffany Henderson are long-distance partners who communicate via videotaped messages. After Josh records a video with Beth Wagner, he mistakenly believes his roommate, Rubin, mailed the tape to Tiffany. To fix the mistake, Josh, Rubin, E.L., and Kyle embark on a road trip to Austin. Along the way, they face a collapsed bridge, a wrecked car, and various obstacles. They eventually reach Austin just as Tiffany arrives. Josh intercepts the tape, but it is revealed that the content was actually recorded over by Barry. The group returns to Ithaca, where Josh begins a relationship with Beth, and the others find new paths in their lives.
