Full plot (contains spoilers)
Taxi driver Thomas Brenner leads an unremarkable life. One day, three menacing-looking Russians get into his car, bringing a fighting dog named Roxy with them. Levan, their boss, pays Brenner a large sum of money and tells him to be at their disposal from then on. Brenner is now their assistant and general dogsbody, and when Levan’s beautiful wife and son come to town, Brenner is supposed to look after them. It remains unclear why Brenner agrees to this, especially since it turns out that the Russians are being pursued by unknown people. It is likewise left unclear whether they are criminals or dissidents.
