A Secret Service agent must protect a nuclear football in a high-stakes standoff at a CIA safehouse.
The story
In Los Angeles, a motorcade transporting Vice President Davis is attacked by terrorists. While Davis is evacuated, Secret Service agent Choi escapes with the backup nuclear football. General Marshall initiates code Whiskey Mike Delta, ordering Choi to shelter in place at a CIA safehouse managed by a 'housekeeper' named Anderson. Choi is joined by several agents from the Secret Service, Department of Defense, and Homeland Security. However, after the attack's detonator signal is traced to the safehouse, the facility is placed in lockdown, trapping the group inside as terrorists launch an assault on the building.
Full plot (contains spoilers)
Following a terrorist attack on Vice President Davis's motorcade in Los Angeles, Secret Service agent Choi is ordered to a CIA safehouse with the nuclear football. He is joined by agents Reeves, Owens, Sorello, and Halton. The safehouse is locked down and attacked by terrorists. During the siege, Reeves is killed, and the group discovers the terrorists are seeking both the football and a classified device called C49, which generates Gold Codes. Tensions rise as Sorello accuses the housekeeper, Anderson, of being a traitor. After a second wave of attacks, Sorello kills Anderson, only to later discover via CCTV that Anderson had already murdered the real housekeeper. Anderson reveals his true identity as Elijah King, a former Marine leading a crusade for disillusioned veterans to launch an ICBM from Montana. Owens manages to disarm King and his colleague, aborting the launch. In a final twist, it is revealed that General Marshall was the mastermind behind the conspiracy, coordinating the attack from the same building before destroying his operations room and fleeing.
