Full plot (contains spoilers)
Salvo, a mafia hitman, and his fugitive boss manage to escape an ambush. To settle the score, Salvo enters the apartment of the man who ordered the hit, where he discovers Rita, the man’s sister, who cannot see him because she has been blind since birth. After a while, the girl senses his presence, but her attempt to warn her brother when he returns is in vain. After killing the man, Salvo points his gun at the girl and places his bloodstained hands on her face. At that moment, something miraculous happens: Rita regains her sight. Salvo abducts her and hides her in an abandoned warehouse, telling the boss that he killed her too. He brings her food every day and seems to have feelings for her. When the boss discovers the truth, he orders Salvo to kill her. Instead, Salvo confronts the gangsters: he manages to get Rita to safety, but is mortally wounded.
