A film director is threatened with the mutilation of his wife unless he kills a girl, while a separate mystery centers on dumplings promising renewed beauty.
The story
A man suddenly appears before a film director whose life seems utterly trouble-free. He demands that the director kill a particular girl, threatening to cut off the director’s wife’s fingers one by one if he refuses. The article also introduces a separate mystery involving a woman who eats suspicious dumplings in an effort to regain her beauty, then asks what she does after learning what was inside them. The brief plot description does not explain how these situations connect or what happens next.
