A group of anthropomorphic groceries discovers the truth about their existence and decides to fight back against their human fate.

The story

In the supermarket known as Shopwell's, the items are unaware that humans are not gods, but are actually going to consume them. They believe they are being taken to a utopia called the 'Great Beyond.' However, a piece of honey mustard warns a sausage named Frank that this is a lie. After Frank learns the truth from a group of non-perishables, he decides to lead a movement to reveal the truth to the other groceries. Along with his friends, he begins a journey through the store to find proof of their reality, while his friends face the dangers of the human world.

In the supermarket Shopwell's, anthropomorphic groceries believe humans are gods taking them to a utopia called the 'Great Beyond.' Frank, a sausage, learns from a piece of honey mustard that this is a lie. After meeting the Non-Perishables, who admit they created the lie to soothe the groceries' fears, Frank vows to reveal the truth. He travels through the store with friends Brenda, Sammy, and Lavash. Meanwhile, Frank's friends Carl and Barry face the reality of human consumption; Carl is killed while Barry survives and encounters a human drug addict. Frank eventually finds a cookbook in the 'Dark Aisle' and attempts to show the other groceries, but they initially refuse to believe him. The situation changes when Barry and others return with the head of a human, proving humans can be killed. The groceries then drug the humans and employees, leading to a violent battle where they kill many humans. They eventually defeat the antagonist Douche and the store manager. In the ep1logue, the group discovers they are actually animated characters in another dimension and use a portal to confront their creators.
