After the death of the Jigsaw Killer, a series of recordings leads investigators into a new web of lethal games and hidden apprentices.

The story

Following the death of John Kramer, an autopsy reveals a microcassette in his stomach that promises Detective Mark Hoffman that 'the games have just begun.' As detectives attempt to unravel the mystery of John's final game, they are drawn into a web of deceit revealing the motives behind his lethal games. The film follows the investigation into a series of gruesome traps where victims are forced to endure horrific trials, while the police deduce that Jigsaw's apprentice, Amanda, may have had assistance from another mysterious figure.
