The story
The vocational school Schule am Meer in Flensburg needs funding for a new teaching kitchen, and cooking teacher Erik Olsen seeks sponsorship. Before an important meeting with businesswoman Marion Nielsen, Erik is injured in a bicycle accident involving his superior, principal Katharina Hendriks. His injuries require intensive care and temporary wheelchair use, so Hendriks moves in with him while his mother is away. Their shared living arrangement brings friction over household management. At the same time, a kindergarten internship incident involving Nielsen’s daughter Tilly and student Jannes Gräber prompts the potential sponsor to give the school an ultimatum, forcing Hendriks and Olsen to consider their response.
