The story
In the aftermath of previous attacks, Sidney Prescott has built a new life in Pine Grove, Indiana, where she lives with her husband and daughter, Tatum. The peace is shattered when a mysterious caller claiming to be Ghostface contacts her, revealing that the masked killer is stalking her daughter at a nearby theater. Sidney must navigate a terrifying new chapter of the franchise as she attempts to protect her family from a killer who seems to be haunting her past, while the threat of the Ghostface mask looms larger than ever before.

After a mysterious caller claiming to be an aged Stu Macher threatens her daughter Tatum, Sidney Prescott must confront a new Ghostface killer. The plot unfolds across two locations: a house where fans are killed by Ghostface, and Sidney's home in Indiana. Sidney discovers the first killer is Karl Gibbs, a man from a mental institution. Meanwhile, Tatum is hunted by a second Ghostface, who is revealed to be Sidney's neighbor, Jessica Bowden. Jessica, having read Sidney's autobiography, seeks to turn Tatum into the 'new Sidney' by recreating the trauma of the past. The film culminates in a confrontation where Sidney and Tatum must fight off both killers. In the end, Sidney and Tatum successfully defeat Jessica, and Sidney reconciles with her past while preparing for the future.
