The story
Socially awkward corporate strategist Linda Liddle is overlooked for a promotion by her boss, Bradley Preston. During a business trip to Bangkok, their flight encounters a severe storm and suffers a catastrophic failure. Linda and Bradley are the only survivors of the crash, ending up on a remote island in the Gulf of Thailand. As they struggle to survive in the wilderness, the professional boundaries between them dissolve, and the underlying tensions of their corporate lives manifest as a volatile conflict of wills. Linda must navigate the physical dangers of the island while dealing with Bradley's deteriorating mental state and his continued insistence on his authority.

After a plane crash in the Gulf of Thailand, Linda Liddle and her boss, Bradley Preston, are the sole survivors. While Linda is skilled at survival, Bradley remains entitled and demanding. The tension escalates when Linda discovers Bradley's attempts to sabotage her, and she retaliates by using toxins to control him. The conflict turns deadly when Linda encounters Bradley's fiancée, Zuri, and a boat captain; she intentionally causes them to fall to her death to ensure her own survival. Later, Bradley discovers the truth about the deaths and accuses Linda of murder. A violent confrontation ensues, during which Bradley injures Linda's eye before she stabs him. Bradley escapes to a nearby beach house, but Linda follows and eventually kills him with a golf club after he attempts to seize a weapon. A year later, Linda is a wealthy celebrity and author, promoting a memoir of her time as the 'sole survivor' and telling her fans that no help is coming, so they must save themselves.
