Sendero (2015)

Ana is traveling with her friends to a weekend house in the remotest part of the Chilean countryside. When her friends take a shortcut, they first find a dead animal on the road. A short time later, the car breaks down. A taciturn man helps the five friends out of their predicament, but near the end the situation almost escalates. Shortly afterward, the friends find a badly injured woman by the roadside. When they try to help her, they themselves are abducted and end up with a backwoods family consisting of a strong maternal figure and two brothers who have sex with each other. What this strange family intends to do with them remains unclear. To break Ana, she is forced to kill one of her friends. A period of torment begins for the four who remain, as they repeatedly try to escape together and their plans are repeatedly thwarted. The family apparently are human traffickers who have captured the friends for an older man who seems decadent. As a result, little happens to them apart from a few injuries. The final escape attempt, however, ends in a massacre in which everyone except Ana loses their life. The human trafficker is the last to be killed. Ana then flees to the highway, where she meets a woman who gives her a ride. Still traumatized, she shoots the woman with a shotgun.
