The story
Carrie, Samantha, Charlotte, and Miranda reunite to attend the wedding of their friends Stanford and Anthony. Three of the four women are now married, while Samantha remains single. In New York City, Miranda faces frustrations at her law firm, Charlotte deals with the demands of motherhood, and Carrie navigates her marriage to Mr. Big. When Samantha is hired to develop a PR campaign for a wealthy Arab sheikh, the group is invited on an all-expenses-paid luxury vacation to Abu Dhabi. The film follows the four friends as they navigate their personal lives and the complexities of traveling to a new cultural environment.

Carrie, Samantha, Charlotte, and Miranda reunite for a wedding. Miranda resigns from her law firm, Charlotte worries about her husband's attraction to their nanny, and Carrie struggles with her husband's preference for staying in. Samantha is hired by a wealthy Arab sheikh who invites the group to Abu Dhabi. During the trip, Samantha's supplements are confiscated, and the women's Western habits clash with local customs, leading to Samantha's arrest. Carrie reconnects with her former fiancé, Aidan, and later reconciles with Big. Charlotte discovers her nanny is a lesbian, and Miranda finds a new law firm. Samantha eventually reunites with a Danish architect in the Hamptons.
