The story
A few years after the events of the television series, Carrie Bradshaw and Mr. Big are in a committed relationship and preparing to move in together. They find an expensive penthouse in New York City, which Big buys for them both to live in. While Carrie considers the logistics of their new life, she is invited by a Vogue editor to be featured in a bridal couture issue. The attention surrounding a specific designer gown leads Carrie to deviate from her original plan of a small, intimate wedding to a large, elaborate extravaganza. This shift in scale begins to cause anxiety for Big, who has been divorced twice.
