Full plot (contains spoilers)
Set in 1995, siblings Kevin and Kaylee wake up to find their father missing and their house physically dissolving. They retreat to the downstairs to watch cartoons, only to find the house still dark and objects like chairs appearing in impossible positions. As they move through the house, the environment becomes increasingly surreal; a bathroom disappears, and a mysterious voice begins to communicate with them. Kaylee encounters a vision of their mother, who warns her of a presence before vanishing. Later, the siblings are separated by the house's shifting geometry. Kevin finds Kaylee in the basement, where she has been physically altered by a malevolent force. A voice commands Kevin to perform a self-mutilation, and he eventually finds himself in a void-like space where time is distorted. The film concludes with a series of haunting images of distorted faces and a final, unsettling encounter in a dark room.
