Two intertwined plots collide in the London criminal underworld as a stolen diamond and a high-stakes boxing match create a chaotic web of violence.
The story
Set in the London criminal underworld, the film contains two intertwined plots: one following the search for a stolen diamond, and the other focusing on a small-time boxing promoter (Statham) who becomes embroiled with a ruthless gangster (Ford) willing to carry out severe and sadistic acts of violence. The narrative weaves together the desperate actions of various criminals and low-level crooks as they navigate a dangerous landscape of organized crime, high-stakes gambling, and underground fighting.
Full plot (contains spoilers)
After a gang of robbers steals a diamond in Antwerp, Franky Four-Fingers travels to London to fence it. Simultaneously, a boxing promoter named Turkish tries to manage a fight involving a fighter named Mickey, who is caught between the demands of a ruthless gangster, Brick Top, and the reality of a rigged fight. The plot thickens as a bounty hunter, Bullet Tooth Tony, hunts for the diamond's location while various characters—including a group of thieves, a Russian named Boris, and a pack of Irish Travellers—become entangled in the chaos. The diamond eventually ends up in the possession of a dog, leading to a series of comedic and violent mishaps. Ultimately, the Travellers massacre Brick Top's crew, and the diamond is recovered by a vet before being returned to the rightful owner.
